Synopsis
The history begins with the birth and death dates of the parents and children. This is followed by background information for both Alonzo and Anna. After they were married, they moved from Utah to Star Valley, Wyoming. In the spring of 1889, Alonzo and their oldest son went to Montana for work. Anna and the oldest daughter built a cabin, the first on the east side of Salt River in the Lower Valley. Later Alonzo learned how to make cheese. Anna and Alonzo had twelve children. Anna died when the twelfth was born in 1899. Alonzo married again and had six more children. The concluding paragraphs are about William Alonzo (Lonnie) Baker – his successes and his misfortunes. * Baker family photo
